iuvo Technologies Hosted an IT Networking Event for Credit Unions at CCUA ON April 6th.  The event educated and informed IT executives and professionals of Credit Unions and provided an environment where IT professionals in the banking industry can understand and leverage best practices in IT Security.  The event was hosted locally and interactively through video conferencing technology to allow attendees from multiple states to participate in this event.

During this half day event, iuvo Technologies lead discussions and ideas around the IT security environment and covered both the baseline of what is required along with some innovative approaches to get ahead of cyber criminals and the keys to keeping the network infrastructure secure.

iuvo Technologies shares common values with credit unions in that they are obsessed with providing a better product for their customers and offer an elevated level of customer service.  This common understanding allowed this event to give the financial institutions the tools and ideas that they needed to empower their business through technology and process.

Bryon Beilman opened the session to begin the audience engagement and to serve as the general host of the event. Chris Russo articulated a critical component to security around "The Human Firewall" and iuvo Technologies' unique approach to keeping their customers secure.  Following up was Jeff Beard who gave a tutorial on the advantages and real life implementation examples of using identity as a Service (IDaaS) platforms.  Phil Howard, who is with CNSG, a partner of iuvo Technologies helped educate the attendees on how to strategically plan and get the best value out of all aspects of IT that fall outside of the four walls of a credit union.

This event was the first in a series of IT Network events hosted at CCUA by iuvo Technologies to help educate the Credit Unions who are a member of the CCUA network.
